This page describes what TowCheck actually does with your data. It is a working draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer — treat it as accurate about the app's behavior, not as final legal copy.

Free tier

All of your saved profiles — trucks, trailers, people, animals, and gear — are stored locally on your device using SQLite. Nothing is transmitted off your device. TowCheck does not create accounts and does not collect analytics.

Pro tier — purchases

Pro purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. TowCheck does not handle your payment information directly.

Pro tier — AI photo weight estimator

When you use the AI photo weight estimator, a photo is sent from your device to TowCheck's backend, which forwards it to Anthropic's API to generate a weight estimate. The photo is processed transiently for that estimate and is not stored afterward.

If you submit the support contact form, your message and reply-to email address are sent to our support inbox by email. This information is not stored anywhere beyond that email.
